Making Laundry Less Terrible with Laundry Room Cabinets

let’s start with your laundry room cabinets

Do you dread the laundry? Do you wonder if those piles of clothing, dirty, clean and in-between, will ever stop plaguing and occupying all of your free time? Here at Cornerstone Kitchens, we can’t do much about the ever-continuous cycle of laundry, but what we can do is offer you some solutions for your laundry room that will make the laundry process less terrible during the week.

First, let’s start with your laundry room cabinets. If there are none, this is an excellent place to start. A laundry room can start to feel cluttered very quickly after adding in all of the bottles of laundry soap, dryer sheets, softener and other things that we use for our laundering. Laundry room cabinets can help to clear up this clutter and organize things for easy access.

Second, use your laundry room cabinets to bring in a little joy to an otherwise sad place. You might even consider your laundry room like the power room of cabinet design in that it’s a small space, so take some design risks! Have the cabinets painted in a fun color you wouldn’t want all over the house.

Third, put your laundry room cabinets to work for you. Design storage for hanging clothes, built-in drying racks, and some slide-out shelving options for a quick folding table that can just as quickly go away.

These are just some of the ideas that we have for utilizing laundry room cabinets in your laundry room. What are some of your favorite laundry tips that can help make this chore less dreadful? Let us know in the comments!
